Darts Farm’s Field, Fire and Ferment Food Festival

Join us, our in-house experts and some of our incredible local artisan producers for a day of tastings, tales and demonstrations!

Discover the art behind fermentation and how the live cultures create not only amazing flavours, but are incredibly good for your gut, maintaining your immune system and overall health. From the best West Country farmhouse cheese and artisan charcuterie, to small batch Devon cider, beer and kombucha; homemade gelato and bean to bar chocolate!

Our Master Butchers, Philip and Alastair, will be doing demonstrations throughout the day... Understand how our home-grown and locally reared meat is produced; discover the ‘why’ around hanging and our unique dry aging and fermentation process and learn top tips on preparing and cooking.

Dave Kerley, of the Fish Shed, will be sharing his expert knowledge; you’ll learn everything you need to know about the local catch and how to create the best flavours cooking over charcoal and fire.

Also, join our farm team for a tour around the farm, winding your way through our fields, discovering what seasonal fruit and veg we have growing.
